Founded in 2011 by Cherisse Scott, the current CEO, SisterReach was formed to offer women and girls in Memphis, TN and the surrounding Mid South area a framework of Reproductive Justice(RJ). NAPAWF is building a movement to advance social justice and human rights for AAPI women and girls in the United States. AAPI: Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Their state director, Allison Glass, is based in Memphis, but they have field organizers in Memphis and Chattanooga and are often in Nashville to visit the legislature.
